Oxford China Restoration Studio specialises in invisible repairs to fine porcelain, including replicating missing pieces, (hands, arms, feet etc) filling chips, cracks, taking moulds, re-glazing and gilding, removal of stains, unsightly rivets and lacings.

The tiger and the figurine represented pieces
with a great sentimental value to thier owners.
Both arrived in many parts.

Both left invisibly restored.


All ancient terracotta can be dated by a Thermoluminescence Analysis Report. This will confirm the age of the last firing. Both horses belong to the Tang Dynasty 618-907 A.D. Oxford China Restoration Studio specialises in restoring these early pieces.
